"Dr. Lindsey Tavakolian is an incredible artist of a surgeon. She listens carefully, plans your surgery studiously, advises you abundantly, and ultimately molds your body beautifully. She has a true passion for and talent for mommy makeovers. I am forever grateful for what she has provided me - a body with natural curves that demands confidence and that made me feel brand new. After having 3 big babies and breastfeeding them all, I was left with a body that no longer felt my own. Dr. Tavakolian used her careful and practiced hands to craft exactly what I desired. I underwent breast augmentation and flank/abdominal liposuction after in depth explanation of whether or not more surgery could provide a better result. We agreed ‘less is more’ and I am incredibly happy with my result. I have never felt more comfortable in my own skin. If you desire a beautiful and natural appearing outcome, look no further! "On September 25th I had surgery to remove my silicone breast implants. I am seventy-five years old and my implants were placed in 1983 and at that time there was absolutely no mention of ever needing to replace them. Over the years I had at least six needle biopsies as per mammogram results. In the early 2000’s after a mammogram and ultrasound a lumpectomy was urgently recommended. The surgeon was recommended by an older family friend and doctor so I did not interview him ahead of time.The pathological results were perfectly normal, but the lasting scar was terrible and, in my opinion, somewhat short of mutilation. So, not only did this surgery leave me disfigured, the attitude and bedside manner of this surgeon was horrendous. Looking back, knowing what I know now, I would never have considered using him.I was so upset and turned off by this process I never had another mammogram until August of this year. Over the years my left implant became encapsulated causing a great deal of pain and discomfort and my right implant had ruptured dispersing silicone into my breast and probably beyond. I will never be convinced that the rupture was not caused by the actions of the lumpectomy.Over the years I learned to live with the pain and discomfort. I was quite fearful of consulting another doctor about the problems I was having. When it became so uncomfortable to take a breath without pain in my chest and back, I knew something had to be done. My personal physician talked we me in mid-August in regard to my desires and scheduled an ultrasound on August 12th to be sure there were no suspicious signs of cancer and it was clear but did confirm severe contracture with calcification of my left implant and rupture of my right implant.After much thought, prayer and research I set up an interview with Dr. Lindsey Tavakolian, MD MPH on September 9th. Over the years I have learned to go with gut feeling and first impressions. Dr. Tavakolian was warm, inviting and showed genuine concern to my feelings, issues and desires. She took all the time needed to explain what she felt was needed to give me the outcome I was looking for.I chose to let Dr. Tavakolian to do my explant and capsulectomy and she scheduled me for this procedure on September 25th. She and her staff went above and beyond to make the procedure and subsequent recovery an incredible process. The surgery was done and I met with her again the following day feeling better than I had in many, many years and was able to breathe deeply without any pain in my chest or back. Drain tubes were removed on September 30th and I have had no need for pain medication since September 28th. I will have a follow up visit on October 14th. I feel absolutely renewed, pain and anxiety free thanks to Dr. Tavakolian and her amazing staff. I highly recommend her and her team and would use her again without question."
"I love Dr. Lindsey Tavakolian and my new breasts. I was referred to Dr. Tavakolian by another very established plastic surgeon in Dallas. He told me she does beautiful breast augmentations and her patients are all very happy. From the first visit with Dr. Tavakolian she was very attentive and spent time with me answering all my questions. She recommended implants that would enhance my breasts without being too big. Being female, I knows she gets it, what women really want. Needless to say I scheduled the procedure right away. The surgery was quick and I was able to go home the same day. I even helped prepare dinner that same night. I only had a little tightness my chest; it felt like a sore muscle and went away in just a few days. It has been 2 months since my breast augmentation and I love my breasts. I can now wear any swim top or sundress I want. My breasts fit my frame perfectly and clothes fit better. My husband loves my new confidence, which makes me even happier. I strongly encourage anyone thinking of breast implants to choose Dr. Tavakolian. She is an excellent female surgeon and just an all around caring doctor."
"I saw Dr. Tavakolian regarding a possible revision breast surgery after having a previous breast augmentation after recommendations from my friends and my experience was wonderful. She was very sweet and thorough and explained my options with me in detail. She really stressed the importance of safety which is something that I loved.
